Now Hiring: Process Operator – Chemical Manufacturing

12-Hour Shifts (36/48 hours)

We're looking for a Process Operator to operate and monitor key production systems, both in the control room and on the plant floor. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring our chemical processes run safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate process equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, filtration systems, and more
  • Monitor systems using digital controls (e.g., DCS, SCADA) and respond to alarms or deviations
  • Load raw materials and assist with batch production, in-process checks, and equipment cleaning
  • Record production data and shift details with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and support teams to maintain quality and flow
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental standards with precision
  • Handle chemicals using proper PPE and safe handling procedures
  • Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as needed to support production goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree
  • Prior experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing highly
  • Familiarity with operating procedures, safety standards, and control room systems
  • Ability to read P&IDs, SOPs, and safety documentation (SDS)
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, noisy, or confined spaces with PPE
  • Clear, effective communicator and dependable team player
  • Forklift/power jack experience or certification strongly
  • Must be available to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

This role is hands-on and physically active. Expect to:

  • Stand, climb stairs, and lift throughout the shift
  • Work in environments with noise, heat, chemicals, and vibration
  • Wear PPE including steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses
