Job Description

The Process Operator micronizes and mills client-provided materials, including active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients, following Malvern procedures, client instructions, and cGMP guidelines. The role models values and leadership behaviors in all interactions.

• Perform entry-level micronization and milling of hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceutical actives and excipients.
• Set up, operate, and monitor equipment in production processes.
• Document production on batch records following GDP standards.
• Work in a regulated environment, adhering to SOPs and policies.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP standards.
• Identify and communicate deviations, GMP deficiencies, and non-routine events to supervisors promptly.
• Clean processing areas and equipment thoroughly.
• Produce clear, consistent documentation in line with Quality Standards.
• Show willingness to adapt, learn, and work with new processes.
• Ask questions or suggest improvements when necessary.
• Participate in shift change meetings, team meetings, email communications, and projects.
• This is a site-based position.
• Aim for First Time Right (FTR) as a KPI to meet yearly targets.
• Stay current with Compliance Wire and other training requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Position Requirements

Education or Equivalent: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: Dependability, eagerness to learn, physical capability. Prior manufacturing and regulated environment experience preferred. Ability to work weekday and weekend OT is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills: Excellent communication, basic math skills, ability to handle hazardous chemicals with PPE, prior production experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity, including working in fully enclosed air suits.
• Ability to lift/move up to 44 lbs. solo, or with assistance for heavier weights.
• Ability to work safely with HPAPI and unknown potency compounds.
• Perform physical tasks like lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for up to 8 hours.
• Work from elevated platforms, wear respirators, and hearing protection as needed.

Additional Details

Pay Rate Range: $20-24/hr depending on experience.
