Job description

Schedule: 8-hour rotating shifts, 7 days on, 2 off, 7 on, 2 off, 7 on, 3 off
Hourly Rate: $26.53 per hour (plus overtime as needed)
Quarterly Bonus: benefits effective first month post-hire (medical, dental, vision, disability, HSA)
401(k): up to 3% match plus additional 3.5% contribution
Safety Shoe Allotment: $250

Responsibilities
  • Operate mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and fix issues with equipment as applicable.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor the operation from the control room on computers, if applicable.
  • Sample and test products.
  • Prepare railcars and trucks; load and unload trucks, railcars, and bags as necessary.
  • Pack, inspect, and dump bags, totes, sacks, or drums.
  • Fill tanks or transfer product as necessary.
  • Perform tasks of varying physical demand such as moving hoses and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Handle movement of and work with chemicals as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Continuously learn other job duties and/or positions as required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in potentially loud and strong odorous environments, different physical environments, and various weather conditions.
  • Can lift and carry 50 pounds, stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull; enter tanks; wear harness.
  • Full‑time availability; willing to work any day of the week, off shift, and/or rotating shifts as applicable or assigned.
  • Must be able to move about in the processing areas.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to share information, data, and ideas with peers and leaders.
  • Good decision‑making ability.
  • Computer literate; SAP experience a plus.
  • Mechanical/problem‑solving skills; preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Food Safety; a plus.
  • Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift certification; required.
Schedule and Overtime

Full‑time position; may require overtime.
