Under the general guidance of the Shift Leader, the Process Operator will handle production in the Baytown Production Facility.
He/ She will ensure product quality and follow production schedules to meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Familiarize and train in production procedures.
- Familiarize and train in safety rules and procedures.
- Educate about the products being produced and the raw materials used.
- Adhere to safety rules to ensure the protection of personnel and company assets.
- Maintain production records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Report on all product quality deviations, production schedule deviations, and any damage to company equipment.
- Hold themselves accountable to follow work instructions and maintain standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- All other responsibilities as assigned

- Reporting to work on time and in appropriate uniform / PPE.
- Taking responsibility for meeting production quotas and schedules.
- Communicating effectively with Shift Leaders, Peers, Administration, and Quality Control.
- Completing assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Critical Skills and Complexity
- High School or Equivalency Diploma with a minimum of 520 hours of IGI Training.
- PTEC certification is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of plant processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
The Process Operator must be able to perform the following
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Lift and carry 60lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Climb Stairs, Ladders, and Scaffolding.
- Load and unload Tank wagons and Rail cars.
- Bend and kneel to floor level.
- Work in Hot / Cold environments.
- Work in Wet / Moist environments.
- Use tools and equipment. i.e. Shovels, Squeegees, Scrapers, etc.
- IGI Certification to operate Powered Lift Equipment.
