Job summary

Valeo, a global automotive supplier, is hiring a Line Setter in Seymour, Indiana. This permanent full-time role operates on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, with overtime as needed and growth opportunities within the coating department.

You will support start-up, operation, and maintenance of coating equipment, collaborate with engineers, and help ensure safe, efficient production with quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance experience or a degree in Plastic Engineering or related field.
• Experience maintaining high-speed automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Daily start-up, operation, and control of Coating Department equipment.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist shift supervisors in daily production management.
• Maintain process set-up sheets, records, and shift logs.
• Collaborate with engineers to debug process or equipment issues.
• Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs when required.

Position Available is on 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3PM - 11PM; Overtime as necessary

What You Will Do

• Responsible for daily start-up, operation, and control of Coating Department equipment
• Perform/facilitate process and equipment troubleshooting activities and preventative maintenance activities using machine maintenance skills (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Assist shift supervisors in managing daily production
• Maintain all process set-up sheets, records, and shift logs as required
• Work with engineers and other personnel to debug any process or equipment issues
• At times, lift up to 75 lbs when necessary

What You Should Have

• You have a minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience OR an Associate’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Plastic Engineering, Plastic Engineering Technology, or similar Plastic degree
• You have experience in maintenance on high-speed automated equipment
