Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Manager of Process Modernization to lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional improvement programs. You will map current state processes, identify inefficiencies through root-cause analysis, and redesign processes to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction.

Collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other units will be key to delivering measurable outcomes and profitable growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
7+ years in process engineering, quality engineering, process improvement or continuous improvement.
2+ years of supervisory experience.
Experience documenting a complex end-to-end current state across functions, systems, handoffs, decisions and controls.
Ability to redesign processes and lead implementation.
Ownership of measurable outcomes: cost reduction, revenue growth or efficiency gains.
Lean and Six Sigma principles as practical tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute cross-functional process improvement projects from scoping through completion.
Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines and resources.
Identify inefficiencies and waste via process mapping and value stream mapping.
Conduct root cause analysis and develop control plans with stakeholders.
Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to establish baselines and measure improvement.
Drive change management and adoption of new processes and systems.
Develop or improve standardized work practices for consistency.
Provide project governance and status reporting to leadership.
