Job summary

Stantec's Portland, Oregon office is seeking a Process Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our multi-disciplinary water professionals team. You will work on water and wastewater treatment plants and conveyance projects, with exposure to planning, design, and construction of critical infrastructure, including pump stations and rehabilitation of facilities.

• Perform site visits, condition assessments, and observe startup operations.
• Prepare engineering calculations, detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Prepare planning and technical engineering reports, and design pipelines, pump stations, and treatment processes.
• Work under the supervision of a professional engineer.
• Develop your professional network within the water industry through interactions with clients, regulatory agencies, other consulting firms, and industry organizations.
