Job summary

OnQCx in Idaho is seeking a seasoned Process Mechanical Construction Manager to lead planning, execution, and turnover of large-scale semiconductor projects. You will partner with general contractors, design teams, vendors, and clients to deliver safe, compliant process utility systems.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in construction management for process utilities in regulated environments, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of coordinating multi-discipline

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of construction management experience in process mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of process utilities and facility infrastructure.
  • Experience leading subcontractors and coordinating multi-discipline construction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of process mechanical construction from design through turnover.
  • Coordinate between general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and client teams.
  • Drive field execution, resolve technical issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor schedule, procurement, and progress; ensure code compliance.
  • Support testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture with active field presence.

Role Overview

We are looking to bring on a professional who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of process mechanical systems on large-scale semiconductor projects. This role works closely with the General Contractor, design teams, trade partners, and client stakeholders to ensure

process utility systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

The Process Mechanical CM provides technical leadership throughout construction, from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, startup, and turnover. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex process utility systems in highly regulated environments and thrives in fast paced, technically demanding projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of process mechanical construction, from design coordination through turnover and commissioning.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project scope, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate activities between general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and client teams.
  • Drive field execution, resolve technical and constructability issues, and mitigate project risks.
  • Monitor schedule performance, material procurement, and construction progress.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
  • Support system testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain an active field presence.
  • Experience managing one or more of the following systems is preferred: High‑Purity Process Piping, Process Cooling Water (PCW), Ultra‑Pure Water (UPW), Clean Dry Air (CDA), Bulk and Specialty Gas Systems, Vacuum Systems, Process Exhaust and Scrubber Systems, Industrial Waste and Chemical Waste Systems and/or Process Utility Distribution Infrastructure

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of construction management experience supporting process mechanical systems within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission‑critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of process utilities and manufacturing facility infrastructure.
  • Experience leading subcontractors and coordinating multi‑discipline construction activities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
