Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our Maintenance team in Stuarts Draft, VA. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment critical to our manufacturing processes.

Shifts are 2nd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., onsite. Candidates should have hydraulics experience and be prepared to work with LEAN processes in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Pneumatics, power transmissions, pumps, valves, and bearing applications knowledge.
• Technical maintenance training completed.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings.
• Accurate measuring ability.
• Must furnish personal tools per the Process Mechanic tool list.
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in process area
• Perform other related duties as needed
