Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking an Engineer I - Process Manufacturing to support upgrade, rebuild, installation and start-up of process equipment. You will interface with contractors, vendors and internal teams to implement standards for production, safety and environmental activities.

The role requires knowledge of manufacturing systems, strong communication, problem solving, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline preferred.
• Two-year college degree with at least one year of engineering support experience.
• Entry level position with basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures.
• Ability to operate a computer workstation and appropriate software/hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in upgrade, rebuild, installation and start-up of process equipment.
• Interact with contractors, equipment vendors, and supply vendors for assigned projects.
• Contribute to development of standards, specifications and procedures for production, safety and environmental activities.
• Support OEE improvement activities.
