Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking an engineer to support process and equipment development for detector assemblies. Qualifications

Job Description

Responsibilities will include supporting the process and equipment development for the detector assemblies.

Tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Performing Design of Experiments (DOE) to develop process parameters, coordinating the fabrication of parts, commissioning and operation of process and test equipment, and supporting the diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues.
  • Work closely with an integrated engineering and operations team, using Six Sigma methodology to tackle the technical challenge.
  • Engineering Major, Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineer Experience with machining of micron precision components*** VERY IMPORTANT
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong team and interpersonal skills
Qualifications

Experience with a chemical background or vacuum casting would be a plus.
