Job summary

Micron Boise is seeking an experienced engineer to lead ID1 PVD/CVD process engineering teams, recruit and develop talent, and set strategic goals aligned with factory output. The role emphasizes safety, cross-functional collaboration, and strong technical leadership across qualification and manufacturing alignment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in semiconductor film processes, proven leadership, and excellent communication skills to drive results in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering field.
• Senior Engineer level or higher with prior people leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct films experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading teams and driving results across complex projects.
• Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and scaling new teams or manufacturing areas.
• Background supporting high-volume manufacturing ramp or fab start-up.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across global organizations.
• Experience presenting technical topics to senior leaders or large audiences.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.
