Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking engineers to lead the ID1 PVD/CVD process engineering teams in Boise. You will hire, onboard, and develop staff while defining strategy and targets aligned with factory goals.

Responsibilities include partnering with manufacturing, facilities, procurement, and suppliers to qualify tools and ensure capacity readiness. Strong safety culture and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering field.
• Senior Engineer level or higher with prior people leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct films experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading teams and driving results across complex projects.
• Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and scaling new teams or manufacturing areas.
• Background supporting high-volume manufacturing ramp or fab start-up.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across global organizations.
• Experience presenting technical topics to senior leaders or large audiences.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.
