Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Process Maintenance - Mechanical Journeyman to support mill assets including paper machines, folios, embossers, roll wrap and cutsize in Whiting, WI. The role focuses on preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.

Starting pay is $43.16 per hour, with double time on Sundays and contractual holidays. Schedule is daytime with weekend work on a rotating basis, plus holidays and overtime. Journeyman license and strong problem‑solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card and/or state license required.
• Technical/problem solving skills essential.
• Contribute in a team environment to meet our business objectives.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment physical capabilities test, drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that manufacturing and converting processes are maintained to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Assist with service calls and on‑duty coverage to ensure production operations.
• Maintain tools, parts, supplies and service records; recommend equipment modifications or replacements as appropriate.
