We are currently seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd Shift to join our Process team.

Key Responsibilities

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery safely and following all safety protocols established by management.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

The Machine Operator must operate machinery safely at all times and adhere to safety measures set by management.

Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Process Supervisor.

Responsibilities and Authorities:

• Check scrap sheet hourly to ensure machine is operating correctly.
• Monitor rectifiers for correct current and amperage.
• Follow daily voltage settings and inspect parts for quality.
• Measure tank temperatures hourly and adjust bath levels as needed.
• Keep machine walkways clear and check tanks for floating parts.
• Identify and work with team leads to resolve lost parts.
• Clear machine jams safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Health & Safety Responsibilities: Comply with the company's Health & Safety Program and relevant legislation, standards, and policies.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum Work Experience: Experience as a Machine Operator preferred; tow motor experience a plus.

Minimum Training: SDS sheets, safety policies, and new employee orientation as required.

Other Requirements:

• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated with mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25-40 pounds regularly.
• Availability to work before and after shifts, including weekends.
