Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a modern semiconductor fab emphasizing quality.
• Understanding of SPC methods.
• Experience with wafer fabrication processes such as epitaxy, wet/plasma etching, deposition, and lithography.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot challenging performance and yield issues in the wafer fab.
• Investigate root causes for lots being put on hold; provide failure analysis support.
• Use MES software to collect data, perform basic analysis, and generate reports.
• Review SPC charts and respond to out-of-control events.
• Coordinate movement of lots through fab, assembly, and test areas.
• Support process engineering to improve stability and capability; drive throughput and cycle time improvements.
• Assist in technology development, transfer, and ramp activities for PIC yield and reliability goals.
