Job summary

Insight Global seeks an Instrument Mechanic to perform skilled field and shop work inspecting, troubleshooting, adjusting, calibrating, servicing, maintaining, overhauling, repairing, and testing automatic controls and indicating instruments. You will analyze instrumentation problems to determine repairs and adjust programs interfacing with process control computers.

Responsibilities include reading and using piping and instrumentation diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and vendor

Qualifications

• Three or more years of field experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Experience reading P&IDs and control diagrams to troubleshoot systems.
• Ability to inspect, calibrate, repair and test automatic controls and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, service and maintain instruments and controls.
• Analyze instrumentation malfunctions to determine necessary repairs.
• Interface instrumentation with process control computers and PLCs.
