Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an entry‑level/early‑career engineer for our Tennessee manufacturing site. You will analyze production data, drive process improvements, and support equipment upgrades on a fast‑paced line.

This role offers hands‑on work with modern production lines and opportunities to learn Lean, 6S, and problem solving in a real setting. You will collaborate with Operators, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to boost throughput, reduce waste, and improve product

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
  • 0–3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate manufacturing trends and solve real production problems.
  • Implement process changes to boost throughput and product quality.
  • Partner with operators to optimize equipment performance and uptime.
  • Support new product trials and iterate on process methods.
  • Troubleshoot issues, assist with machine setups, and coordinate equipment upgrades.
  • Analyze run data to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production.
  • Develop SOPs, training content, and technical documentation that drive consistency.
  • Advance continuous improvement with Lean, 6S, and root‑cause analysis.
