As a Process Improvement Consultant Sr. within PNC's C&IB Process Improvement organization, this is a remote position that must sit within the PNC footprint. Certain responsibilities may require in-person activities at the office.

The Process Improvement Consultant Sr. on the C&IB Operations Process Improvement team is responsible for managing process design, the improvement experience, and consulting with business leaders to solve complex problems, improve efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with business leaders to understand their processes, lead root cause analysis, analyze data, and implement process changes. You will also manage tasks, timelines, stakeholders, and resources.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to improve quality and minimize process costs using data analysis to craft solutions that meet business needs. Present optimization efforts to governance committees for approval. Assess risks against business objectives, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk framework.
  • Facilitate redesign of complex, cross-functional projects with a comprehensive view of organizational processes. Develop end-to-end solutions covering operations and business systems.
  • Engage with Technology, Change Management, Risk, Compliance, and other teams to meet project goals.
  • Conduct analysis to identify, quantify, and prioritize value creation. Present business cases, implementation plans, and cost-benefit analyses to influence senior leadership.
  • Ensure smooth introduction of new processes, sustain or improve output quality, mentor teams, and leverage relationships for continuous improvement.
  • Lead development of no-code/low-code applications in SharePoint using PowerAutomate and PowerApps.
  • Coach peers and team members in business problem analysis, project management routines, and use of root cause tools.

  • Process Management: Knowledge of tools and techniques for process improvement.

  • Information Capture: Documenting business information clearly and accessibly.
  • Problem Solving: Recognizing, anticipating, and resolving issues using appropriate tools and approaches.
Job Description
  • Consult with the Line of Business to evaluate and optimize complex operations or technology processes through end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct diagnostics to identify and prioritize value creation projects, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Redesign organizational processes considering all operational and system facets.
  • Lead efforts to improve quality and reduce costs, utilizing data analysis and process modeling, and present proposals for approval.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure effective implementation and ongoing improvement, mentoring teams as needed.
