Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support operations, equipment, and processes in a GMP-regulated environment. You will provide solutions for routine to moderate challenges, train junior staff, and help drive efficiency across FFEx manufacturing functions.

The role emphasizes deviation investigations, data collection for reviews, and applying Lean tools to optimize processes while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. This is a site-based opportunity in Clayton, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Associate degree with minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma with minimum 4 years manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally pharma.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• GMP knowledge required.
• Basic investigation and problem-solving experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deviation investigations with production and QA.
• Drive continuous improvements using Lean tools.
• Provide training on process and procedure changes.
• Identify and implement process needs and improvements.
• Collect data for periodic reviews and reporting.
• Adhere to safety and environmental requirements.
