Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Plano, TX on a hybrid schedule.

The role focuses on process analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement within the North America Professional Services division, partnering with business leaders to optimize processes and streamline delivery. The Senior Business Analyst will document current-state processes, facilitate stakeholder interviews, and produce comprehensive documentation packs including BPMN swimlanes and SIPOC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or Business Process Analyst.
• Strong experience documenting current-state processes and gathering business requirements across multiple stakeholders.
• Practical BPMN 2.0 modeling experience, including swimlane models with gateways and cross-actor handoffs.
• Experience authoring standard operating procedures, work instructions, or operational documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with North America lead and Senior Business Analyst on process analysis, documentation, and transformation activities.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to document how Professional Services work is currently performed across departments.
• Gather and review existing process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and supporting materials.
• Produce comprehensive process documentation packs, including SIPOC, BPMN swimlane models, and procedures.
• Author, validate, and publish SOPs to ensure they are current and reflect actual practices.

Position Overview for the Senior Business Analyst:

• Partner directly with the North America lead and the incumbent Senior Business Analyst on process analysis, documentation, and transformation activities.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to document how Professional Services work is currently performed across various departments.
• Gather and review existing process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and supporting materials.
• Produce comprehensive process documentation packs, including interface specifications, SIPOC, BPMN swimlane models, and procedures.
• Author, validate, and publish standard operating procedures to ensure they are current and reflect actual practices.

Requirements for the Senior Business Analyst:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or Business Process Analyst.
