Job summary

ARMI in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Process Equipment & Installation – Design Engineer to design and build process equipment installations. You will model with SolidWorks, Inventor, and CAD, and support pre-bid meetings with Sales/Project teams.

Onsite testing and startups are required, with a focus on manufacturability and cost efficiency. The role requires mechanical engineering credentials (degree preferred) and 3+ years of CAD experience, with travel up to 15% and availability for nights

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree preferred or applicable industry experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years SolidWorks, Inventor, or CAD experience.
• Experience in food process layouts using 2D/3D software is required.
• Sheet metal and Weldment design using SolidWorks.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design & build projects for process equipment and installation systems.
• Model and design using SolidWorks, Inventor and/or CAD.
• Accompany Sales/Project engineers to pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Be onsite during system testing and startups.
• Review designs for manufacturability and clarity of drawings.
• Optimize designs for customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Ensure all components comply with industry and business standards.
