Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Lewiston, Idaho, is seeking a Process Engineering Technician I to join our Manufacturing team on swing shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm–11:30pm). You will provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and help clarify production process specifications to ensure accurate, efficient production.

Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, basic computer skills (Excel, Word, SQL), strong writing and verbal communication, and

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL)is looking for someone to join our Manufacturing team as a Process Engineering Technician I in Lewiston, Idaho. If you are looking to grow your career and are motivated by solving meaningful problems, we encourage you to.

As a Process Engineering Technician I, you'll provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and clarify production process specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production. SHIFT: Swing (2nd shift) (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm to 11:30pm)

This job might be for you if:

• You have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing equipment relevant to the role
• You have basic computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, SQL)
• You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• You can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• You can work cooperatively in a team environment.

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems.
• Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments.
• Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Experience preparing materials cross-sections for microscopic analysis.
• Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.

Pay Range: $31.00-$46.00 per hour (plus swing shift differential: $5.00/hr)

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at a level I, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.

Level I: $31.00-$46.00 per hour

Level II: $34.00 - $50.00 per hour
