Job summary

Flex is seeking a manufacturing technician to support equipment setup and line operations in our Austin facility. You will run test processes, collect data, and present results to engineering to help identify yield improvements and test new products.

The role emphasizes teamwork with process development and engineering and requires the ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in related field or technical training; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs set-up of processing equipment.
• Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
• Processes test runs and prepares records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Line change configuration.
• Performs corrective maintenance.
• Follows escalation procedures.
