Job summary

A leading electrical manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to effectively transition new products into production. Responsibilities include running qualification protocols, documenting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years in a manufacturing environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be proactive in identifying issues. This full-time position is based onsite in Vandalia, OH, with 5–10% travel expected.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in JMT assembly or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment during qualification runs.
  • Strong attention to detail in process development.

Responsibilities

  • Run IQ, OQ, PQ, and FQ protocols to qualify products.
  • Conduct test method validations for new testers.
  • Facilitate prototype runs and document production issues.
  • Execute and document pilot builds to confirm readiness for production.
  • Create work instructions for smooth production transitions.
  • Confirm cycle times to validate engineering estimates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity.

Travel: 5–10% (domestic and international)
