Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing processes across production lines.

You will mentor a team of process engineers, oversee design and implementation of new processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma.

Collaborating with R&D, production, QA, and maintenance, you will establish KPIs, manage budgets, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and communicate results to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 8–10 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • 3–5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience; Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; Japanese a plus.
