Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience, preferably in composites or aerospace manufacturing.
• Prior leadership experience managing engineers and/or technical teams.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred (Black Belt a plus).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Process Engineers across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, yield improvement, and scrap reduction.
• Support new product introductions and scale-up of manufacturing processes.
• Lead root cause investigations, PFMEA activities, and corrective actions.
• Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Leadership teams.
• Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support ERP system integration and manufacturing process documentation.

This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of Process Engineers while driving manufacturing excellence, process optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, and new product integration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader with a strong manufacturing background, preferably within aerospace, composites, or advanced materials.
