Job summary

Veolia is offering a Process Engineering Intern role focused on water technologies in a fast‑paced environment. You will participate in mechanical and process design for water and wastewater systems, interview operators, and help create training procedures.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team and department projects.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks at hand.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in mechanical and process design/documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Spend time in production interviewing operators about their jobs and needs.
• Take detailed notes and help develop training procedures.
• Document the complete regeneration process—procedures, decision points, and best practices.
• Create training materials (manuals, SOPs, visual guides).
• Conduct initial training sessions with plant staff to validate accuracy.
• Establish foundation for ongoing knowledge management.

What your day might look like:

• The Process Engineering intern participates in the mechanical and processdesign/documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• You will spend time in production, interviewing operators about their jobsand needs
