Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Good technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the mechanical and process design/documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Spend time in production, interviewing operators about their jobs and needs.
• Take detailed notes and help develop procedures used for training.
• Document the complete regeneration process — procedures, decision points, and best practices.
• Create training materials (manuals, SOPs, visual guides).
• Conduct initial training sessions with plant staff to validate accuracy.
• Establish foundation for ongoing knowledge management.

What your day might look like:

• The Process Engineering intern participates in the mechanical and processdesign/documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail
