Burnham is seeking a current second to fourth-year undergraduate, or graduate student to join our Summer 2027 as a Process Engineering Intern based in Raleigh, NC. This is an 8-week, paid, in-person internship with up to 40 hours/week and travel up to 30% (2 weeks at a time).
You will lead research studies, support engineering projects, develop tools for project origination and process optimization, and collaborate with facility operations teams to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy

We are on the hunt for a current second to fourth-year undergraduate, or graduate student to join our team for the Summer 2027 as a Process Engineering Intern and help bring Burnham to the next level! We expect the internship experience to achieve 3 high-level goals: (1) to prepare the candidate for the future by presenting real situations, challenges, and opportunities which besides requiring value-added effort, ultimately help the candidate become more knowledgeable in regards to their future career path, (2) an output of the prior, support individuals and teams at Burnham, helping us move towards our goal of transforming waste management, and last (3) help support a talent pipeline to Burnham through subsequent internships, returning to the team post-graduation, and recommendations to others.
