Saint-Gobain Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to support continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations. You will design tooling with SolidWorks, analyze process capability, and work with senior engineers to implement changes on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, documentation of SOPs, and collaboration across production, quality, and product development teams.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with the operations team on continuous improvement initiatives including efficiency improvements, ergonomics, safety, and quality.
• Design tooling and fixturing using Solidworks
• Conduct Process Capability analysis and work with experienced engineers to recommend process changes
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions and other documentation
• Work with employees on the production floor to improve the overall manufacturing processes by implementing engineered solutions.
• Provide support for production, quality, product development and other departments as required
• Assist team with identification of areas for improvement and suggests solutions

The Process Engineering Intern will work on a variety of projects for the Saint-Gobain Middleburg Heights, Ohio site. This will be a highly interactive position which will help you develop your capabilities, time management, and communication skills. This experience will enhance your understanding of engineering in a manufacturing setting and provide a strong career footing. We are very excited to have you as part of our team.
