Job summary

Amcor LLC seeks a Plant Process Engineering Co-op to support manufacturing operations and drive process improvements at one of our sites in Wisconsin. You will work on several projects, from new capital equipment installs to waste-reduction initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

The role requires pursuing an engineering degree and strong analytical as well as communication skills to collaborate with operations teams and complete multiple projects during the term.

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science).
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes.
  • Complete multiple projects during the term, solving real manufacturing issues.
  • Assist with installing new capital equipment and waste- reduction initiatives.
  • Identify root causes of defects to drive cost savings and quality improvements.
