Job summary

Renaissance-Lakewood,-LL in New Jersey seeks a junior or senior engineering student to assist the Engineering and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting and maintaining filling and packaging equipment. Learn the skills needed to become a process engineer while supporting ongoing projects.

You will help onboard and implement new equipment, audit processes for continuous improvement, and create documentation.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior in an accredited college with GPA >= 3.2/4.0.
• Preferred majors include Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biochemical, or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering and Maintenance in troubleshooting and maintaining filling and packaging equipment; learn to become a process engineer.
• Assist Engineering on onboarding and implementation of new equipment.
• Audit and analyze processes to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Aid in execution of Engineering projects for product onboarding.
• Create and update documentation that governs the processes for the company.
• Support the Process Engineering team in real-time equipment troubleshooting events.
• Acquire spare parts based on criticality and use to support equipment reliability.
• Create Engineering drawings in AutoCAD to be sent to external vendors for fabrication.

• Pay or shift range: $37,700 USD to $45,900 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

• Assist Engineering and Maintenance department in the troubleshooting and maintaining filling and packaging equipment. Learn the skills necessary to be a process engineer. The candidate will work on projects to assist the process engineers in filling and packaging.
• Assist the Engineering team on the onboarding and implementation of new equipment.
