Qualifications

• 5+ years in process engineering, development and manufacturing or complex assemblies.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute experiments to identify key process variables using DOE methodologies or other analytical methods.
• Develop standard manufacturing best practices, parameters, process windows, and work instructions to improve the assembly process.
• Use Six Sigma DMAIC to determine root causes and improvements for process challenges.
• Perform statistical methods to conduct process capability studies to ensure the process meets key requirements.
• Develop criteria to ensure cable assembly design and processes are ready for full-volume production.
• Provide guidance and support to engineering and operations teams to improve the assembly process.
• Collect and interpret data from technical and operating staff; drive yield improvement initiatives.
• Report yield results to cross-functional teams and develop tools to ensure higher yields.
