Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a Process Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain wave soldering and manufacturing processes at its TH facility. You will drive process improvements, monitor KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and production targets.

The role requires 2–5 years in process engineering, strong data analysis, and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, SPC, and DFMEA. On-site work in Denver, adventurous travel for regional projects may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• A master’s degree in Electronics Manufacturing is a plus.
• 2–5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with cross-regional manufacturing support or international travel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, maintain manufacturing and wave soldering processes.
• Monitor production metrics and identify deviations with corrective actions.
• Support lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and process flowcharts; train production teams on-site.
• Collaborate with quality and equipment teams to resolve process-related issues.
