Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Process Engineer - Trim to support the Trims and Samples operation by identifying opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and leading projects that improve productivity, quality, and customer responsiveness.

You will partner with department leaders and operators to streamline workflows, analyze data, and implement improvements from concept to completion while measuring impact on throughput and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
• Manufacturing/process/industrial engineering experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency with Excel and other business analysis tools.
• Strong communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to improve processes and performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increase productivity.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
• Support R&D and product development by evaluating processes.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and drive decisions.
• Evaluate product and material flow to optimize throughput.
• Troubleshoot process and system challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
• Perform project and capital analysis including ROI and business cases.
• Serve as a technical resource for operations teams.
