Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is hiring a Process Engineer at Plant SI in Chickamauga, GA to provide production engineering and process control support for the ATY & Needlepunch department.

Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience with TPM programs or TPM initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the ATY & Needlepunch department manager, supervisors and associates daily.
• Support production engineering/process control for ATY & Needlepunch to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain and issue process specifications and operating instructions.
• Investigate off-quality situations and monitor departmental performance via reports and observations.
• Lead or participate in capital projects to drive safety, quality, cost improvements and TPM initiatives.
