Shaw Industries is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical support on the Finishing line at Plant 4 in Dalton, GA. The role focuses on driving TPM initiatives, improving costs, and coordinating production schedules with supervisors and operators.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year engineering degree (or equivalent), strong communication and project-management skills, and prior manufacturing experience. Comprehensive Shaw benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree is required; an engineering degree is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid project management skills are essential.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects on the Finishing line.
• Drive TPM initiatives and cost improvements.
• Investigate off-quality situations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor departmental performance via reports and observations.
• Set schedules, manage inventory, daily production, and drive trials on the coating line.
