Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Distribution Center Process Improvement Leader to drive performance using the Walmart Performance System (WPS). You will lead lean tools, analyze KPIs, and develop standard work to reduce losses while coaching managers and associates.

This role emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and delivering customer-focused results. You will promote continuous improvement, support deployment of best practices, and manage top-loss projects within your area, contributing to Walmart’s core

What you'll do...

IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE Role Overview This role leads process improvement efforts within a Distribution Center using the Walmart Performance System (WPS) to eliminate losses, improve performance, and develop associate and leadership capability while supporting Walmart’s core values.

Key Responsibilities Process Improvement & Performance
  • Leads Process Improvement tools and methods, for example 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies , to eliminate losses in an area within a Distribution Center according to Network Process Structure using Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs.
  • Delivers expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis , loss elimination, and by creating standard work to reduce process variation.
  • Assists with the review and response of process improvement projects owned by area managers.
  • Applies new network One Best Way playbooks and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.
  • Assists with the tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology .
  • Manages project execution of top losses in the functional area and assists in building the capability of other area managers and associates.
  • Supports area loss profile analysis and performance metrics.
  • Develops gap analysis to support WPS integration.
  • Supports Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements within the process area.
  • Leads savings projects within the area of responsibility by taking loss out of the process.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
