Job summary

Tokyo Electron seeks a process development professional to advance semiconductor processes on TEL equipment at customer sites in the United States. The role emphasizes developing, characterizing, and optimizing deposition processes, with travel to customer sites as needed.

The candidate will collaborate across functions, analyze data, and support applications and demonstrations. Strong communication and a proactive, self-directed mindset are essential for success in a multicultural team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with several years of related experience; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor device manufacturing and deposition methods (ALD, CVD, PECVD, PE-ALD) is preferred.
  • Direct experience with TEL single wafer and/or batch deposition equipment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team; willing to travel domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and characterizes processes on TEL equipment at customer sites.
  • Performs process optimization experiments and analyzes data to set specs.
  • Interacts with sales/marketing and other units to drive customer adoption and quality improvements.
  • Provides applications support and may travel for process startups and support at customer sites.
  • Ensures quality processing and coordinates activities with customers and internal teams.
