Job summary

Tokyo Electron US is seeking a process development engineer to develop and optimize semiconductor processes on TEL equipment at customer sites. You will characterize test data to define limits and work with sales and engineering teams to enable customer adoption of TEL tools.

The role involves occasional international travel, collaboration across disciplines, and ensuring quality processing of materials through TEL equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience; or Master's Degree with 3 years of related experience; or PhD with 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor device manufacturing preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

  • Develops processes on TEL equipment at customer sites.
  • Characterizes, analyzes test data to set process/material specifications.
  • Designs and executes process optimization experiments.
  • Provides applications development support to customers; may require travel.
  • Coordinates machine activities with customers and internal teams.
  • Provides input to TEL factory on process and machine issues and works on solutions.
  • Conducts integration activities with internal business units.
