Job summary

Wasatch Labs in Utah is seeking a Process Engineer to design, monitor, and continuously improve manufacturing and production processes with emphasis on quality, safety and efficiency as products scale from development to full production.

You will author and review work instructions, investigate OOS/OOT issues, and assist in validating processes and equipment. You will also support customer inquiries and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Chemistry/Biology/Physics required.
• 0-2 years experience in manufacturing; familiarity with cGMP; proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with statistics.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Chemistry/ Biology/Physics preferred; 2-4 years experience; creams/pastes/emulsions/lotions/serums/waxes experience; solid understanding of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and continuously improve manufacturing and production processes.
• Transfer products from development to full-scale production; author/review work instructions.
• Investigate out-of-spec (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) products.
• Assist in validation of processes and equipment.
• Provide customer support for general inquiries, tours, and pilot/validation batches.
• Perform fill weight studies for packaging components.
• Author technical or engineering reports.
