Job summary

Abracon is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join the NEL Frequency Controls team in Burlington, WI. This role focuses on high-mix, precision electronics manufacturing with a hands-on floor presence and collaboration across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

You will drive throughput improvements, reduce cycle times, and improve first-pass yield using structured problem-solving and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering field is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, process or production engineering or continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyze data and drive practical action on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, material flow, layout, routing and labor use to find improvements.
• Lead projects to boost throughput, shorten cycle times, improve yield and delivery.
• Develop standard work and process documentation to ensure repeatability.
• Investigate defects and variability with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering on manufacturability, test flow, tooling and fixtures.
