NEL Frequency Controls, powered by Abracon LLC, is hiring a Process Engineer to optimize high‑mix, precision electronics manufacturing in Burlington, WI. You will partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and strengthen process controls that keep products shipping on time and defect‑free.

The role focuses on hands‑on improvements on the shop floor, with data‑driven problem solving and rapid results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or electrical).
• Experience in manufacturing/process engineering and continuous improvement.
• Strong data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Willingness to spend significant time on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, material flow, work-center layout, and labor utilization to find improvements.
• Lead projects to improve throughput, reduce cycle time, and improve on-time delivery.
• Develop standard work, instructions, and process documentation for repeatability.
• Partner with Production and Quality to investigate defects and process variation.
• Collaborate with Engineering on manufacturability, test flow, tooling, and fixtures.
• Apply data analysis and Pareto, process mapping to drive improvements.
• Support new product introduction and transfers by validating readiness.
• Recommend improvements to workstation layout and production sequencing.
• Train and coach production staff on updated processes.
