Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Lake Charles, LA seeks a Process Engineer to support product development scale-up across distillation, reaction, flash and drying steps, applying chemical, polymer, and process engineering principles.

The role requires onsite presence at least four days per week, a related engineering degree, and 2–3 years of experience, with strong collaboration across teams to drive long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, polymer, or petroleum engineering or closely related discipline.
• Experience in production or process engineering in a chemical plant or refinery is preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify safety culture and promote a safety-minded work environment.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Identify and implement process control improvements.
• Facilitate production trials for new polymer products and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and scale up new chemistries.
