Job summary

Qnity, based in Parlin, New Jersey, seeks a Process Engineer to support Polyimide manufacturing in a batch environment. You will apply chemical engineering principles, analyze data, and drive process optimization, quality improvements, and cost reduction.

The role is 100% onsite in Parlin, NJ, requiring close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to meet production objectives and enable digital manufacturing initiatives with dashboards and predictive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
2+ years in chemical manufacturing or semiconductor/advanced manufacturing.
Experience supporting manufacturing processes in production environments.
Strong grasp of chemical engineering principles and process chemistry.
Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Polyimide manufacturing processes and equipment.
Monitor process performance and drive corrective actions to improve safety, quality, yield.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process capability and efficiency.
Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to identify trends.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
Support digital transformation with dashboards, KPIs, and predictive analytics.
Lead investigations related to process deviations and non-conforming products.
Serve as a key technical resource for manufacturing decisions.
