Job Title: Process Engineer – Plastics & Injection Molding
Location Options: Winchester, KY or Orlando, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time | Relocation Package: Available
Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable
We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong background in plastics and injection molding to join a growing, dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and lead efforts in process control and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll play a key part in productivity optimization, capital project execution, and overall quality enhancements across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the plant lead for manufacturing control strategies and improvement initiatives.
Develop and execute capital project plans, including authorization requests and implementation oversight.
Apply Six Sigma, TQM, and lean manufacturing tools to improve productivity and reduce waste/scrap.
Conduct audits and develop action plans for continuous process improvement.
Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
Train staff and implement process enhancements across operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science discipline (or equivalent experience).
Plastics industry experience required.
Hands-on injection molding experience is a must.
Proven experience managing and executing capital projects.
Familiarity with injection molding and extrusion systems/equipment.
Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and optimize equipment.
Strong communication skills and technical acumen.
Experience training others and implementing new processes.
