Job Title: Process Engineer – Plastics & Injection Molding
Location Options: Winchester, KY or Orlando, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time | Relocation Package: Available
Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable

We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong background in plastics and injection molding to join a growing, dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and lead efforts in process control and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll play a key part in productivity optimization, capital project execution, and overall quality enhancements across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the plant lead for manufacturing control strategies and improvement initiatives.

  • Develop and execute capital project plans, including authorization requests and implementation oversight.

  • Apply Six Sigma, TQM, and lean manufacturing tools to improve productivity and reduce waste/scrap.

  • Conduct audits and develop action plans for continuous process improvement.

  • Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.

  • Train staff and implement process enhancements across operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Plastics industry experience required.

  • Hands-on injection molding experience is a must.

  • Proven experience managing and executing capital projects.

  • Familiarity with injection molding and extrusion systems/equipment.

  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and optimize equipment.

  • Strong communication skills and technical acumen.

  • Experience training others and implementing new processes.
