Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer for plastics and polymers in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on supporting production, product development, and maintenance to deliver high-quality films and compounds.

The candidate will conduct trials, optimize processes, implement improvements, and provide technical support on the production floor, with relocation assistance available. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in Plastics, Polymers, or Film Extrusion.
• Hands-on production floor experience.
• Knowledge of lean six sigma quality tools.
• Root cause analysis & corrective actions experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct processing trials such as film extrusion, compounding, physical testing, and analysis of samples; write technical reports.
• Optimize process flows to increase efficiency during new product launches.
• Implement new processes & improvements to reduce costs.
• Improve manufacturing processes to reduce scrap, justify expenditures, increase quality and reduce setup time.
• Provide technical support to production.
• Participate in equipment & product validations.
