Job summary

SendCutSend, a leading on-demand manufacturer of custom sheet metal and CNC parts, seeks a Process Engineer who owns complete manufacturing processes from scope to pricing and expansion across facilities.

You will define process scope, develop pricing models reflecting true costs, and drive production validation, standardization, and scaling while ensuring quality and throughput in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, laser cutting, waterjet, forming, 3D printing.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools including toolpath strategy and optimization.
• Experience designing tooling, fixtures, and workflows.
• Ability to analyze production data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more manufacturing processes end-to-end, including scope, pricing, and multi-site expansion.
• Define full process scope: equipment, materials, tolerances, throughput, capabilities.
• Develop and own pricing model to reflect true cost and margin targets.
• Lead process development from concept to production validation and deployment.
• Create SOPs, tooling, fixtures, and training materials for replication across facilities.
• Analyze process data to identify constraints and drive quality improvements.
• Lead expansion to new facilities, equipment, or materials.
