Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Process Engineer to help expand and optimize midstream assets including cryogenic gas processing plants, NGL fractionation facilities, and export terminals. You will lead technical analyses, collaborate with project teams, and contribute to design reviews and commissioning.

The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, experience in petrochemical or midstream environments, and the ability to provide technical guidance across project stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required; Chemical preferred.
• MS and/or PE license is a plus.
• Operational experience in midstream or petrochemical industries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and operations.
• Perform upfront engineering on midstream assets (amines, stabilizers, dehydration, cryogenic plants, NGL facilities).
• Support project managers in process design, evaluate operating scenarios, and develop scopes and cost estimates.
• Ensure quality of PFDs, H& balances, P&IDs, and equipment data sheets.
